Why C-More
C-More Systems has made red dots in Warrenton, Virginia since 1993, and the brand grew up on competition guns. That's still the feel of the line: small, fast dots built around shooting matches.
The micro dots are what most people know: the RTS2B, STS2, CRC and CRC2, plus the Railway. List prices run from about $340 for a CRC to about $750 for an RTS3.
There's also the C3 1-6x24 competition scope, plus rail mounts and pistol mounting kits, so you can run one brand across the whole gun.
The warranty is the strong point. It runs 30 years, covers defects including the electronics, and transfers to the next owner. It only covers US commercial buyers, and it won't cover abuse, modifications or normal wear.
The catch is that the 30 years start at the date of manufacture, not the date you bought it, so an old dot sitting in a shop has already used part of it. Check the build date on a used one.
