About Cva

Why Cva
CVA, short for Connecticut Valley Arms, started in 1971 with traditional side lock muzzleloaders and now mostly makes modern in-line ones. It also builds bolt action centerfire and rimfire rifles.
Muzzleloaders run from the Optima V2 around $350 up to the Paramount at about $1,200, with the Wolf V2, Accura LR-X and Endura in between, mostly in .50 or .45 caliber. Bolt guns include the Cascade XT, Scout XP and Optima XP.
This is hunting gear, not AR parts. We'd look at a CVA if you want a muzzleloader for a special season, and start with the Optima or Accura before jumping to a Paramount.
- Muzzleloaders include the Endura series, and centerfire bolt guns include the Optima XP and Scout XP.
