About Del-Ton

Founded 1998, Elizabethtown, NC, Made in USA · Discontinued · Lifetime warranty · Budget ARs
Why Del-Ton
Del-Ton started in 1998 in a North Carolina garage near Fort Bragg and grew into an Elizabethtown maker of affordable first ARs. It announced it was closing in April 2025.
The Echo and Sierra lines were the guns people bought, plus the DTI rifles and the LIMA pistol. Calibers ran 5.56 NATO, .223 Wylde, .308 Win and 7.62x39, and Del-Ton also sold rifle and pistol kits and barrels.
Guns were US made with a lifetime warranty for the original owner. With the company closed, don't count on warranty service or factory parts.
A used Del-Ton is still a plain mil-spec AR, and standard parts will fix most of it. Just price it as a gun with no warranty behind it.
We'd buy a used Del-Ton only if it's cheaper than a new budget AR with a working warranty. Otherwise, buy from a company that's still open.
- Del-Ton made AR-15s and AR-10s in 5.56 NATO, .223 Wylde, .308 Win and 7.62x39, plus rifle and pistol kits.
- Del-Ton guns were US made with a lifetime warranty for the original owner, but the company has since closed.
