About Frontier Cartridge
Frontier Cartridge is Hornady's line of brass case 5.56, .223 and other rifle ammo, loaded at Lake City.
Made in USA · Brass case · Lake City loaded · Non steel core · Range ammo
Why Frontier Cartridge
Frontier Cartridge is Hornady's range ammo line, made for practice in 5.56, .223 and other rifle calibers. The point is brass case ammo that behaves like military ball.
Each round uses a brass case, military grade Boxer primers and military grade powder. The bullets are non steel core, so they're fine on ranges that ban steel core and on steel targets.
It costs more than imported steel case ammo, but the brass is reloadable. We'd use Frontier as the go to brass case practice load when it's in stock.
- Frontier loads brass cases with military grade Boxer primers and powder.
- The bullets are Hornady's non steel core design, so they're target friendly.
