It's machined 6061 aluminum and dims from 0 to 100 percent. A regulated circuit holds brightness as the battery drains, the beam goes from wide flood to tight spot, and you can get it in red, green, white or IR, handheld, on a monopod or on a scope.

We'd use it for night coyote hunting. It's a scanning light, not a weapon light for home defense.
