About Lee Precision
Lee is the budget reloading brand: presses, dies, bullet moulds and priming tools. It all started with the Lee Loader.
Founded 1958, Hartford, Wisconsin, Made in USA · Reloading · Budget friendly · Family owned
Why Lee Precision
Lee is the budget end of reloading. Richard Lee started it in 1958 with the Lee Loader, a hand kit for shotgun shells, and the family still runs it from Hartford, Wisconsin.
The line grew into bullet moulds, the Load-All shotshell press, the Turret Press and the Pro 1000 progressive, plus dies, powder measures and priming tools. Presses start around $70 for the Breech Lock models and about $120 for the Challenger III.
Expect function over polish at these prices. For a first reloading bench it's hard to argue with, and we'd start here and upgrade only the pieces you outgrow.
- The Lee Loader, their first product, was built for reloading shotgun shells.
