About Prvi Partizan

PPU is Serbian ammo that's a go to for affordable range ammo and reloadable brass. They also load old military calibers almost nobody else does.

Founded 1928, Uzice, Serbia, Made in Serbia · Imported · Reloadable brass · Rare calibers

Why Prvi Partizan

Prvi Partizan, or PPU, is a Serbian ammo plant in Užice with roots back to 1928. It's one of the largest foreign ammo suppliers to the US, and it sells both loaded rounds and handloading components.

PPU is the go to for oddball military calibers almost nobody else loads, like 7.92x33 Kurz, 7.65x53 Argentine and 8x56R. In 2009 it became the first commercial maker in decades to load 8mm Lebel.

For common calibers it's affordable brass cased range ammo in lines like Range, Defense, Subsonic and Match, and the brass is reloadable. We'd buy PPU for practice and for any old surplus rifle that needs ammo you can't find anywhere else.

  • PPU loads oddball cartridges like 8x56R and 7.92x33 Kurz, and in 2009 it was the first commercial maker in decades to load 8mm Lebel.
  • Besides loaded ammo, PPU sells handloading components.
  • PPU supplies ammo to the armed forces and police of Serbia and many other countries.
