About Primos
Primos started with handmade turkey calls in Mississippi and now covers calls, blinds and shooting sticks. Rifle shooters mostly run into them through the shooting sticks.
Founded 1976, Jackson, MS · Hunting gear · Shooting sticks · Game calls
Why Primos
Primos started in Jackson, Mississippi, where Will Primos made turkey mouth calls from tin beer cans and was selling them by 1976. Today it covers game calls, blinds and cameras, but rifle shooters know it for Trigger Stick shooting sticks.
The Gen3 Trigger Sticks adjust height with one hand and a pull of a trigger, and use a quick detach yoke with a lock. A Gen3 short monopod runs about $80, a tall bipod about $160 and the tall tripod about $210.
A tripod is much steadier than a bipod off the hood, but it's heavier to carry. For hunting from standing or sitting, we'd buy the Gen3 tall tripod.
- Primos makes game calls, ground blinds and shooting accessories like shooting sticks.
