Builders are reaching for Radical Firearms mostly for upper receiver parts. Why Radical Firearms

Radical Firearms started in Stafford, Texas in 2012 as a small shop and bought its first CNC machine in 2013. It's a real manufacturer, building guns from the muzzle device back rather than assembling bought parts, and it gives veterans first pick when hiring.

It's known for low cost complete uppers, lowers and rifles in 5.56, 300 BLK, 7.62x39, 6.5 Grendel, .308 and 350 Legend. The shop is ISO 9001:2015 certified and also sells barreled uppers, bolt carriers and rails.

Radical uppers hold about 2% of the upper slot on GunPartPicker at about $400, right on the typical price. Complete rifles hold about 3% at around $440, against roughly $920 for the typical rifle.

Stock is the issue. In early October only about 25% of its listings across stores were in stock. We'd buy a Radical upper for a first build or an odd caliber, and grab it when you see it.
