Red Army Standard is Century Arms' steel cased range ammo, aimed at AK owners who want cheap 7.62x39. Over the years it has come from plants in Russia, Ukraine, Romania, Bosnia and Poland.
The 7.62x39 loads use sealed primers and boat tail bullets. Century also sells a White Box steel case line for longer range days, and the brand covers 5.45x39, 7.62x54R and pistol calibers too.
Steel cases aren't reloadable, and a few Romanian lots around 2013 had corrosive components, so clean after old boxes. For plinking an AK, we'd stock up when the price is right.
