About TelaAmmo
TelaAmmo is cheap steel case 7.62x39 and 5.45x39 for AK shooters, made in Azerbaijan and imported through Florida.
Florida (US importer), Made in Azerbaijan · Steel case · Imported · Non-corrosive · Bimetal jacket
Why TelaAmmo
TelaAmmo is budget steel case ammo for AK shooters, loaded at a factory in Azerbaijan and brought in by Tela Impex in Florida. The same importer also handles Sterling ammo.
The main loads are a 124 grain 7.62x39 and a 65 grain FMJ in 5.45x39. Cases are lacquered steel, primers are Boxer and non-corrosive, and the bullet jackets are bimetal and magnetic. That last part matters, since some indoor ranges won't allow magnetic bullets.
With Russian imports cut off, it fills the cheap AK plinking spot. We'd buy it for outdoor range days and check your range's rules before taking it indoors.
- Cases are lacquered steel and the bullet jackets are bimetal and magnetic, so some indoor ranges won't allow it.
- The 5.45x39 load is a 65 grain FMJ with a non-corrosive Boxer primer.
