AR-15 Parts, Optics and Ammo Deals

Every price is compared with what the same store usually charged over the last 45 days. Not MSRP. A part only makes the list at 25% or more under that. How we check

How we check a deal

Biggest verified drop right now: Burris Fastfire III with Picatinny Mount 3MOA 300234, 58% under Palmetto State Armory's usual price at $99.99.

  • We compare each store with itself: its middle in stock price over the last 45 days, and only when we have seen at least eight days of it.
  • We see each offer about one day in three, so a sale that lasts a day or two can be missed.
  • A drop has to be 25% to 60% under that usual price. Bigger gaps are usually a listing error, not a deal.
  • Drops are rechecked against the live price every hour and disappear when the store raises the price or sells out.
  • Price check rankings come from how often builders add each part to a build on GunPartPicker. We show shares, never counts.
  • Some links are affiliate links: we may earn a commission when you buy, at no cost to you. It never changes which deals qualify.

Frequently Asked Questions

Are these real deals or MSRP markdowns?

Real price drops. We never use MSRP or a store's crossed out list price. Each deal is compared with what that same store charged for the same part on the days we saw it in stock over the last 45 days, and it has to be at least 25% under that.

How often are deals updated?

Deals are recomputed every hour from the prices we track, and every deal is rechecked against the store's live price before it shows. When a sale ends or the part sells out, it drops off.

What does usual price mean?

The middle in stock price at that one store over the last 45 days. We need at least eight days of history before we call anything usual, and we never compare one store with another, because a cheap store coming back in stock is not a sale.

What does the price check verdict mean?

Below usual means today's price at the store we link is at least 15% under what that store usually charges. Usual price means within 15% either way, so the row stays quiet. Above usual means at least 15% over, so it may be worth waiting. Not enough history means we have not seen enough in stock days at that store recently to judge.

Why does the price check show these parts?

They are the parts builders add to an AR-15 or Glock build most often on GunPartPicker, slot by slot. When the most picked part is sold out everywhere, the next most picked part in stock takes its place. We show each part's share of picks in its slot, never how many builds it is in.

Does GunPartPicker get paid when I buy?

Sometimes. Many store links are affiliate links, so we may earn a commission at no cost to you. That never decides what qualifies as a deal. If a store ever pays to feature a deal, the row says Sponsored and the deal still has to pass the same price check first.

Prices are compared with each store's own usual price over the last 45 days, never MSRP. Price check rankings come from how often builders add each part to a build on GunPartPicker, in stock parts only. Some links are affiliate links, see our disclosure.
