Why Arisaka

Arisaka Defense makes compact, low profile mounts in the USA for Aimpoint Micro style dots, magnifiers and offset optics, plus light mounts and weapon lights.

The Aimpoint Micro Mount Mk2 is CNC machined 7075-T651 aluminum with a Type III hardcoat anodize. The optic sits only on angled surfaces that wedge it in place, so it doesn't shift zero under recoil.

Beyond mounts, Arisaka sells rail sliders, light kits, lasers and control parts like M-LOK hand stops. Those hand stops hold about 2% of the foregrip slot, at about $29 against roughly $24 for the typical one.

We'd use an Arisaka mount for a Micro style dot you want low and solid, and a hand stop if you want a fixed index point on the rail. You pay a few dollars more for small parts.
