Why B&T
B&T started in 1991 in Thun, Switzerland, making suppressors for the Swiss market. The guns came later: the MP9, a reworked Steyr TMP, and the APC9 in 2011.
The APC9 is why most Americans know the name. The US Army ordered 350 APC9K subcompacts in 2019, in a $2.6 million deal with an option for more. B&T USA in Tampa imports the guns.
The rest of the catalog covers the APC223 and APC308 rifles, the APR308 and APR338 precision rifles, a 40mm launcher, and the rails and mounts that tie it all together.
B&T cans run about $775 against roughly $900 for a typical suppressor here. In early October only about 13% of its listings across stores were in stock.
That stock line is the catch. Swiss imports arrive slowly, and you still have the NFA wait on top. Check that the mount and thread pitch match your barrel before you buy.
If you find one on a shelf, it's a fair price for a Swiss can. We'd grab it rather than sit on a backorder.
