Why Pearce Grip
Pearce Grip is a US maker that's been building grip and magazine extensions for more than 30 years. The point is simple: give your pinky somewhere to go on a small pistol.
Most of the Glock line is polymer extensions in the low to mid $40s, like the PG-26G4 for a Gen 4 Glock 26, the PG-48 for a 43X or 48 and the PG-43+1, which also adds a round. There are versions for the P365, Shield, Hellcat and a long list of other compacts.
A plain extension changes feel, not capacity, and it makes the gun a little taller to carry. For a subcompact that's hard to hold, we'd try one before buying a bigger pistol.
- A Pearce grip extension swaps the factory mag base for a shelf that gives your pinky a spot on the grip, without adding capacity.
