FAB Defense
Overview
The F.A.B. Defense AG-47 Ergonomic Pistol Grip is a polymer grip designed to provide a more hand-filling profile compared to standard A2-style grips. Its ergonomic shaping aims to distribute pressure across the hand more evenly, which can reduce fatigue during extended use. The grip features a standard texture for consistent handling. GPP build data shows the AG-47 is a less common choice, appearing in a small number of AR-15 builds. It is sometimes paired with other F.A.B. Defense accessories, though no distinct build profile or common pairings emerge from current data.
Pros
- +Black finish is the most common color option for pistol grips in the GPP catalog.
- +Constructed from polymer, the most common material for pistol grips, balancing durability and weight.
- +Features a standard texture, which is the most common texture type across the category.
- +Ergonomic grip style is a less common option, offering an alternative to the prevailing standard A2-style grips.
Trade-offs
- −This grip utilizes an Ergo style, which is the second most common, while most pistol grips in the GPP catalog feature a Standard grip style.
