Why Hera
HERA Arms is a German company known mostly for one shape: the CQR stock and grip. It looks like nothing else you can bolt onto an AR.
The CQR Gen 2.0 is fiberglass reinforced polymer, molded in Lower Franconia on HERA's own injection machines to mil-spec standards. It fits AR-15 and M4 rifles, and there's a version for AR-10s too.
The matching front grip clamps to a Picatinny rail, as long as you've got the space for it. The whole setup can run into trouble with some state rules, so check yours first.
A HERA stock costs about $93 against roughly $53 for the typical stock. Finding one is harder: in early October only about 1% of its listings across stores were in stock.
We'd buy it if you want the CQR look and can find one. If you just want a stock that works, there are cheaper ones on the shelf.
