Needed a standard mil-spec buffer tube for a new upper that came with a rifle gas system. The Vltor fit the bill perfectly. Aluminum construction keeps it light but still feels super sturdy. Paired it with a Sprinco spring and an H2 buffer, and the recoil impulse is super consistent. Great part.
Got this Vltor tube for my new 5.56 rifle build. Running a rifle-length gas system and needed a bombproof carbine tube. This thing delivers. Zero slop with my BCM stock, cycles like a dream. No weird hangups, just smooth operation. Highly recommend for any serious build.
