gas tube functions correctly, no issues with gas signature or carrier speed. the nitromet finish on mine came with a slight color shift toward bronze compared to the catalog black, under a handguard nobody sees it but worth noting
WMD Guns Nitromet mid length gas tube has solid fit and finish. Dark nitride coating is more durable than parkerized. Pin holes line up correctly. Cycles a 16 inch carbine without any issues. Same coating as their full BCG.
tube is correctly drilled and straight, no concerns there. install required a couple extra checks because the roll pin hole on the gas block side was slightly offset on mine, drove the pin with a smaller starter punch first to get it lined up. works fine after that
Swapped out my plain melonite tube for this WMD Nitromet on a mid length 16 inch build. Coating finish is noticeably more refined than a standard gas tube. Gas key alignment was spot on, no binding when I installed the BCG. Held up fine after 500 rounds suppressed.
