What the New Hampshire statute says

New Hampshire leaves machine guns to federal law

RSA 159:26

“no ordinance or regulation of a political subdivision may regulate the sale, purchase, ownership, use, possession, transportation, licensing, permitting, taxation, or other matter pertaining to firearms”

No New Hampshire statute mentions binary triggers or automatic weapons at all, so the federal rule applies, and ATF counts the pull and the release as two functions. Towns cannot add a rule of their own.
